The Bordeaux community is mourning Friday after a store clerk was shot and killed in cold blood.![]()
Gene Kim, owner of the Shop-N-Save Market on County Hospital Road, was reading his Korean bible while minding his store when he was shot and killed at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Metro Police are now searching for his killer.
The suspect is described as a black male, six foot one inch tall, weighting approximately180 pounds.

UPDATE 10-01-07 6:12a.m. – Saturday afternoon 19 year old Joshua Bond turned himself in to police. The 19 year old has been charged with criminal homicide for Thursday’s night’s shooting death of a Bordeaux convenience store owner.
