Pit bulls should be banned in EVERY state. Since Animal Control refuses to come to our neighborhoods to pick these dangerous animals after we call saying they’re loose and not on leashes, the only right thing to do is ban the pit bulls.
The owners can cry all they want but if they’d keep their dogs in a secure fence or on leashes, nobody would be attacked by them and this wouldn’t be an issue. But since they’re too lazy to walk their dogs on a leash or buy a secure fence, they shouldn’t even have a say in the matter.
today a ups employee was caught taking drugs out of package. His name was paul rhyan at sparta plant. he has been doing this for quick some time. the ups security set up a package so they could see him open the packages and take the drugs. they put dye in them which got on his hands.
Proposed Bible Park USA features:
– Manna From Heaven Parachute Drop
– Eye of the Needle: Can you steer your animatronic camel through the needle’s eye?
– Loaves and Fishes Sandwich Shoppe
– The Whore of Babylon: Think of riding the Electric Bull, but way way better!
Dear WKRN:
Does WKRN offer interships for college students? Specifically those enrolled in sound engineering and recording at MTSU. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
Randy, you will need to contact our HR department. Contact Francis Pratt. Hope that helps

What’s is going on with News 2 Weekend Morning Show? It was not on either Saturday 2/2 or Sunday 2/3. I was very disappointed. I was forced to watch the ‘other’ news channels.
It was in the Tennessean last week that they had to reduce staff and cut ou the weekend news. It was either Thursday or Friday’s addition. It did not name names though.
Michael, you can find stories about these changes in several local publications, but our weekend morning news shows are no longer. I’ll see if Programming has released anything about these changes and posted them.
but if you replace morning weekend news shows with infomericals, I’ll never watch your channel again! Well, I’m homeless, I don’t watch any tv anyway.
I honestly must say, I am very disappointed in this decision. It reflects to me that News 2 is disconnecting itself from the community.
Pit bulls are NOT dangerous. The reason they’re incessantly killed is close-minded people like you.
The only way they’d become dangerous is if they were raised that way. Domesticated dogs are not bred to be dangerous.
Punish the deed, not the breed.
Lisa and the entire ch2 news and weather team are fantastic. She is the only weather person I watch during storms since I moved to TN in 1999. I hate the storms here, but she has a way of talking directly too you and giving you information you need to make decisions. Even her southern accent makes me feel safe:) You guys just need to broadcast in HD now!
What a large mistake you are making. Over the weekend, I will have to watch another station for local news. The animal shelter will suffer…..Do you really care about he community?
Just thought you might be interrested, the NO Bible Park USA Committee is getting very active again/still, getting ready to present to the Rutherford County Planning Commission in April exactly why this Bible Park would hurt Rutherford County. You can watch the progress on the website http://www.nobpusa.info
I miss the weekend show… but instead of infomercials, can we just get the entire length of GMA:Weekend?? Thanks.
What happened to the blonde gal that use to be out and about in the Nashville area for the early morning news? I’m sorry, but I don’t remember her name. I think that Teresa (sp?) is now doing that part.
HUGE MISTAKE–SOME OF US THAT WORK ALL WEEK REALLY ENJOY THAT RECLINER, COFFEE, AND THE MORNING NEWS. ( CONSIDER OTHER CHANNELS WILL STILL HAVE THE MORNING WEEK END NEWS) WHAT COULD YOU REPLACE IT WITH THAT WOULD DRAW MORE VIEWERS ANYWAY??
What ever happened to Victoria Hanson?
Vic: She’s now at WCIV in Charleston, SC. Check online at wciv.com
Wanted to let you know that the earthquake this morning
was felt here in Celina, Clay County. I awakened to see and
hear the items on my glass topped dresser dancing by the light from my window. Others I have spoken to this morning
were also awakened by their bed shaking. I checked later, by
turning on my TV , and found Channel 2 to be the only station giving the information I wanted at that time. I was
pleased to be able to comfirm what I already knew to be true. THERE WAS AN EARTHQUAKW>
We were out of town when Neil went back to mornings. Was this something he wanted to do? Since we weren’t here we didn’t hear the explanation. Also, was putting Theresa on the outside a promotion?
We do miss the week-end morning news. What happened to those reporters?
Thanking you in advance for your response.
